Program Overview
Program in Animation & VFX
A cinematic VFX pathway designed to guide students from visual design fundamentals to advanced 3D production and high-end compositing workflows used in the film and entertainment industry. The programme begins with core design principles, digital art, and storytelling techniques before progressing into professional 3D production in Maya, including modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, rendering, and scene development.
Students then move into advanced post-production workflows, learning industry-standard compositing, roto-prep, keying, multi-pass integration, and visual enhancement techniques in Nuke. The programme also includes camera tracking and matchmoving with 3D Equalizer, enabling students to seamlessly integrate CGI with live-action footage for cinematic-quality visual effects.
Through project-based training and studio-style production exercises, students develop the technical and creative skills required for modern VFX pipelines. By the end of the programme, students graduate with a professional showreel and portfolio tailored for careers in VFX, CGI, compositing, matchmoving, motion graphics, and digital content production across film, OTT, advertising, and broadcast media.
Eligibility for the program begins at 10th pass, making it accessible to aspiring creative professionals at an early stage of their career journey.
Who is this programme for?
Students aged 15+ who want a career in the animation, VFX, or game design industries — and who want to be trained on the same tools used in production at studios like Prana, Xentrix, DQ Entertainment, and Green Gold. No prior design experience required.
